Hey, Y’all! I’m Kimberly!
I am so glad that you’re here. I used to be a third grade teacher- taking care of a classroom of children and loving them like they were my own. Now I’m a stay-at-home momma to two boys, Monster (4) and Wild Thing (1). I’m lucky to brush my teeth before noon or enjoy at least one day a week where the boys take a nap at the same time. We live in Kentucky, where we enjoy watching UK basketball, drinking sweet tea, and trying to survive life with a threenager and baby.
I’m all about being upfront and honest. I try to find the good in everyday- although some days it is a little harder than others. I live a blessed life because I trust in Jesus, and even though there is a little crazy in everyday- everyday is filled with love.
A little bit more about me:
My husband, Mr., and I have known each other since second and third grade. We were the best of friends and could make or break each other’s day. We tired “going out” in middle school- but it just wasn’t going to work. I was just too cool for him. Fast ward to my junior year of high school- I learned that I couldn’t live without him. We’ve been together ever since…and that was 2002.
We got married a year after I graduated college. On the first weekend of fall, my favorite season, I married my best friend. September 26, 2009, is one of my most favorite days, ever! We added a couple of kitties to the clan, and then in October 2013 welcomed our first born, Monster (not his actual name- but I do want to give him some privacy on here.). Life with him was FANTASTIC! Then we decided to move- yes, with a baby…and started our life in our forever home just shy of his first birthday.
We got a huge surprise in the fall of 2015 when I found out I was pregnant with our second. It wasn’t planned- just a big surprise…such a surprise that when I went in for my first appointment with my doctor, I was 11.5 weeks along- not the 8 weeks I thought I was. Fast-forward to June 2016, and we now have Wild Thing.
Our house is loud, fast paced, and simple-perfect. I wouldn’t trade my days with my boys for any amount of money. I live for this everyday love.
